We are looking for a highly skilled, innovative and passionate individual to join our Band 6 Occupational Therapy team. The Royal London Hospital & St Bartholomew’s Hospital Band 6 Occupational Therapy rotation involves 9-month rotations across a range of diverse areas
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, autonomous and dynamic individual who is committed to further improving their clinical assessment and activity analysis skills and providing high quality, timely and effective services to patients and the organisation.
The successful candidate will work alongside occupational therapy colleagues and work as part of an integrated multidisciplinary team to develop your clinical, leadership, teaching and service development skills whilst working within a supportive and motivated team.
We offer a robust teaching and training programme with the opportunity to complete Quality Improvement and Audit projects, we provide a supportive and engaging environment to develop and grow our therapists. Within the Band 6 rotation you will have the opportunity to develop your own supervisory skills through supporting and supervising junior therapists, students and therapy support workers.
To provide high quality occupational therapy interventions to a wide variety of patients including the advanced assessment and treatment of patients, provision of individual and group education and treatment, provision of assistive devices (orthotics) and equipment, minor structural home adaptations and provision of complex disability management and
advocacy services.
To participate in the Band 6 rotational scheme working across Royal London Hospital and St Bartholomew’s Hospital, within Barts health NHS trust. This will require working in a range of ward settings and departments.

Please note: When calculating the basic salary for sponsorship, HCAS (High Cost Area Supplement) is not included for non-medical roles. This ensures fairness and consistency within our organisation, as some of our sites fall under inner HCAS, while others are classified as outer HCAS.
