We’re working with an Outstanding-rated Secondary School & Sixth Form based across two campuses in Wembley, North West London, currently recruiting for three exceptional STEM graduates to join their team as Graduate Teaching Assistants.
About the Role:
As a STEM Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with subject specialists across the Maths and Science departments. You will provide academic support to students in Key Stage 3 through Key Stage 5, particularly in GCSE and A-Level Physics and Maths.
Your role will include:
• Leading small group sessions and focused booster classes
• Supporting teachers with lesson planning and classroom delivery
• Providing one-to-one intervention to help students achieve their academic goals
• Engaging with high-achieving pupils to stretch their learning potential
• Observing expert practitioners and developing your own teaching toolkit
What We’re Looking For:
• A 1st or 2:1 degree in a STEM subject: Maths, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Strong academic background with matching A-Levels and GCSEs
• A positive, proactive, and energetic personality
• Previous experience working with young people is a bonus, but not essential
• A clear interest in pursuing a career in teaching
