Are you an experienced early years professional ready to step into a leadership role? Our client is looking for a confident and nurturing Nursery Room Leader to join their vibrant, friendly team. As a Nursery Room Leader, you’ll play a key role in leading a team of practitioners, fostering a warm and inclusive environment, and ensuring children receive the care, learning, and attention they need to thrive.
What You’ll Need:
- Level 3 or above in Early Years Education or Childcare (essential)
- Proven experience in a nursery or early years setting
- A sound understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- A nurturing, organised, and team-focused approach
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
- First Aid and Food Hygiene certificates (desirable but not essential)

Your Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a team of early years practitioners within your room
- Plan, deliver and review age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and development
- Ensure a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for all children
- Work closely with families to build strong, trusting relationships
- Track and report on children’s progress and learning journeys
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of nursery policies and practices
