Helpdesk AssistantRef: 2425/143Hours: 37 hours per weekSalary: £24,347 per annum; Plus generous benefits including: • 45 days annual leave per year (including bank holidays and efficiency closures)• Generous Occupational Pension SchemeAbout the roleAs a Helpdesk Assistant you will provide administrative support across a wide range of services within the Estates department. The post will be mainly based on the Estates helpdesk and will act as the first point of contact to staff, students and contractors, dealing with enquiries and providing appropriate information on Estates services. During College holiday periods the post-holder will provide cover for the goods in area accepting and moving deliveries including incoming/outgoing post, PA testing and provide administrative support from this location.About the PersonThe role requires an administrator with experience of MS Office (particularly Excel and Word) with the ability to learn Facilities Management Software and otherin-house databases. The role is suitable for someone with excellent communication skills as the job will include face to face, written and phone contact with students, staff and contractors.About the CollegeWe are a large, regional college serving a population across York and North Yorkshire of more one million people.
