UHI Moray are looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced individual to the position of Automotive Engineering Lecturer in their Engineering department at Linkwood Technology Centre.
Applicants will be educated to Level 3 as part of an apprenticeship in either City and Guild or IMI or equivalent automotive awarding body. A minimum of 4 years’ experience as a time served vehicle Technician is also essential for this post, as is specialist knowledge and competency with techniques and processes used in the repair of modern vehicles including electric and hybrid vehicle repairs. Experience on delivering this subject as a lecturer would be preferred but is not essential.
The successful candidate will be delivering to the IMI Light vehicle maintenance and repair course at SCQF L5 and will also include delivery to the schools’ programmes within the Foundation Apprenticeship in Automotive Engineering.
All appointments are made subject to appropriate PVG Membership.
