An exciting opportunity has arisen within Neonatal Services at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust.
We are looking for a Band 5 registered nurse for our busy Level 2 (LNU) Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Peterborough City Hospital.
Our Neonatal Unit has 20 cots and cares for babies born at 27 weeks gestation or greater.
We are seeking to appoint a motivated registered nurse to join our team of highly skilled and knowledgeable professionals, who are passionate about delivering a high quality service to babies and their families.
Please note that we can only consider applications from individuals with a live NMC registration or UK nursing students awaiting their PIN, as we are currently unable to support OSCE.
The post holder will provide total nursing care on a day-to-day basis, working collaboratively with all disciplines to assure a high standard of neonatal care.
The post holder will develop competencies to enable he/she to provide excellent, evidence based care to an optimal standard ensure to all neonates requiring intensive, high dependency and special care
You must be a child or adult trained nurse, interested in a career in neonatal nursing and should demonstrate expert communication skills and a caring manner.

Assess the needs of patients within the clinical area, plan, implement and evaluate individualised holistic nursing care in a sensitive manner.
Be confident and develop competencies in all areas of neonatal nursing practice enabling delivery of total nursing care.
To act as an advocate for babies wherever they are within the Trust and to advise colleagues on any matter concerning the care of babies.
Play an active role in health promotion activities.
Ensure due regard to given customs, values and spiritual beliefs of clients.
Be self-motivating in ensuring the delivery of evidence- based practice to the highest standard.
Ensure accurate and clear records are kept according to NMC guidelines for Records and Record Keeping
