Jobstore are currently recruiting Class 2 Drivers to join our well-established client based in the Bury area.

This is a fantastic temp to perm opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress. You will be working Monday - Friday with early starts, delivering across the North West region.

Day to Day Duties

Your duties as a Class 2 Driver will involve but not be limited to:

Operate and drive various Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
Pick and pack items from the vehicle and handball goods on customer site
Unloading and sorting orders onsite
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
Essential Skills

As a Class 2 Driver you will need to:

Hold a valid UK Category C Licence
No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
Have a valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card
Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
Effective communication skills
Desirable Experience

Experience driving any commercial vehicles
Previous experience with multi drop deliveries
Previous warehouse/picking experience beneficial
Positive work ethic and good customer service
Max 6 minor points (for insurance)
Experience driving rear axle vehicles
