Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Application Support Officer (UNIFORM) to join our team in a role that demands a blend of technical prowess and customer service. In this position, you will be responsible for providing expert support for our UNIFORM application, ensuring its optimal functioning across various departments. Your primary focus will be on troubleshooting issues, implementing upgrades, and optimizing the performance of the application to enhance user experience. You will collaborate with IT teams, develop documentation, and facilitate training sessions for end-users to promote best practices in application usage. Additionally, you will be pivotal in managing user accounts, permissions, and data security, contributing to the overall efficiency of organizational operations. Your role will also involve liaising with vendors and third-party service providers to resolve more complex technical issues that may arise. The ability to analyze user needs and adapt application features to meet these requirements will be essential. Ultimately, this role is critical in ensuring that our staff can utilize the UNIFORM application effectively and efficiently, thereby supporting the broader goals of our organization.

Responsibilities
Provide technical support for the UNIFORM application to end-users across various departments.
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain user satisfaction.
Monitor application performance and implement improvements or upgrades to enhance functionality.
Develop and maintain documentation for application procedures, workflows, and troubleshooting guides.
Conduct training sessions for new users and provide ongoing support and resources to enhance user proficiency.
Manage user accounts, access permissions, and data security protocols in accordance with organizational policies.
Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to address complex technical issues and ensure seamless application operation.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience in application support or technical support for software applications.
Strong understanding of database management and basic SQL skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical users.
Experience with UNIFORM or similar application environments is preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.

Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Day: £250.00
Location: Swindon, Wiltshire
