Ambitek is currently recruiting for 2 experienced Plater/Fabricator for nightshift site-based work in Widnes. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong fabrication skills and experience working in industrial or construction environments.
***JOB STARTS ON 29TH JUNE TILL 9TH JULY ***
The successful candidate will be responsible for plating and fabrication duties on a live site, working predominantly with structural steel and plate work.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication plans
Mark out, cut, and assemble steel plate and sections to specifications
Carry out all fabrication work to high safety and quality standards
Use appropriate hand and power tools
Follow all site safety rules and procedures
Work efficiently as part of a small team during night operations
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Plater/Fabricator in an industrial or site setting
Valid CCNSG Safety Passport – essential for site access
Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
Skilled in cutting, burning, and fabrication techniques
Strong commitment to health and safety
Comfortable working night shifts and in a site-based environment
