We are looking for a Care / Support worker to join our team of Personal Assistants supporting one of our clients in the Blackburn area. The role will be varied, but you will be supporting our client lead an individual and independent lifestyle in their own home. As well as providing support with clinical care tasks you will also provide companionship and support to get out in the local community, which could include going for walks, attending cafes, or swimming.
Preferably you will be a car driver due to location, however this is not an essential requirement.

It is important to be aware that our client has allergies so you will need to be mindful of any animal hair on your clothes particularly if you have pets. The use of perfume / scented body spray is also not permitted.

There are also dogs in the family household

Your contracted hours will be: 0 hours per week

In return, Salvere Support offers:

Who we are looking for:
You must be self motivated, well organised, reliable and an excellent team player. As well as being a naturally caring and compassionate person, we’re seeking Care / Support workers with experience of:
  • Positive behaviour management and supporting anxiety.
  • Personal care, including support with showering, drying and dressing.
  • Providing companionship, including getting out in the community (including swimming)
  • Medication administration.

You should also have:

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Flexibility to cover annual leave and sickness.

This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check. You must also have eligibility to work in the UK. We are unable to offer sponsorship
