Pay rate: £27.37 per hour PAYE
The role:
On behalf of a local council, we are seeking a Lawyer to provide high quality legal services in the areas of planning and highways legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
Be a lead lawyer in providing high quality legal services in the area of law which will include being a lead lawyer in planning and highways legislation.
Deputise for the Principal Lawyer and Legal Services Business Partner and supervise a group of lawyers.
Play an active role in developing and delivering training to client officers and members of the Council and provide advice bulletins and guidance notes.
To identify income opportunities for the future benefit of the service.
What the client is looking for:
A qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Chartered Legal Executive with significant post-qualification experience.
Strong expertise in planning and highways legislation.
Proven ability to lead and manage legal professionals.
Excellent communication skills with experience delivering legal training and written guidance.
A proactive mindset with a strategic approach to service development and income generation.
