Summary
The Best Connection LTD (Reading) is currently looking for a Class 2 GRAB HIAB driver for one of our world leading transport clients based in central Reading.
Location: Reading
Start Date for Training: ASAP!
Pay Rates: Monday - Friday = £18.50 per hour OT after 8 hours = £23.25 per hour Saturday's = £26.25 per hour Sunday's = £35.00 per hour Position Overview: We are currently looking for an experienced and qualified Class 2 HIAB Drivers to join our clients team. The successful candidates must hold an ALLMI qualification (Cat C + ALLMI Card) as a requirement. However, flexibility to work with AITT/RTITB qualifications will be considered during peak periods.
Key Responsibilities: Safely operate class 2 vehicles for transportation and delivery. Follow all safety and operational guidelines while loading and unloading. Ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods to designated locations. Carry out vehicle inspections and maintain proper documentation. Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding health and safety. Training: Our client will provide a 2-week training and familiarisation programme before drivers take the vehicle out on their own.
Shift Pattern: Week 1: Monday to Friday Week 2: Monday to Saturday Start times vary between 06:00 and 08:30, depending on the schedule. Requirements: Valid ALLMI qualification - ALLMI Card (GRAB). A valid CPC and Tacho card. Category C licence. Experience driving Class 2 HIAB vehicles is highly desirable. Flexibility to work varying shift times. Strong focus on safety and compliance. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
