Are you a dynamic organiser with a passion for connecting communities through impactful events? Do you have the creativity and leadership skills to drive strategic outreach that elevates an institution’s profile? If so, we invite you to apply for the role of Events and Outreach Officer at Colchester Institute.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead, manage, and motivate a small team to successfully deliver internal and external events, including college open events, graduation ceremonies, community outreach activities, and partner school engagement.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and deliver creative and strategic event campaigns that support the College’s recruitment and engagement goals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, local organisations, and key stakeholders to broaden the reach of the College’s offerings.
• Oversee logistics, budgeting, and evaluation for all events to ensure successful delivery and continuous improvement.
• Represent Colchester Institute at external events and act as a key ambassador for our brand and values.
Essential Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 GCSEs (grades 4 - 9 or equivalent) including English and Maths.
• Minimum of a Level 3 qualification.
• Experience of managing a team.
• Experience presenting and public speaking to a range of different audiences.
