Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a highly supportive specialist school in the Oldham area. This role is ideal for candidates who have previously worked with students with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) or those from a care/support background who are ready to transition into an educational setting.
You will be supporting students aged 11+ with complex learning and medical needs. These include non-verbal communication, epilepsy, breathing difficulties, and tube feeding. The students are working at a sensory developmental level, and personal care will be part of your daily responsibilities.
Whether you're providing one-on-one support or working with small groups, your focus will be on helping every student feel safe, engaged, and supported in their learning journey.
