About this opportunity
A vacancy has arisen for a Child and Family Worker to be based within Eden Team. We are looking for a motivated, hard-working, and dedicated person to join our team as a Child and Family Worker; developing and delivering exceptional service to improve outcomes for vulnerable children, young people and families, working as part of a multi-agency team.
As a Child and Family Worker, you will be allocated work in-line with the needs of the children and families, including contributing to parenting assessments, undertaking direct work with children and families and supervising family time between parents and children. You will be required to maintain accurate IT records and prepare reports detailing assessments and direct work undertaken. It is important that the successful candidates are sensitive to the impact of their decisions, and that the voice of children and young people is heard and informs assessment and direct work.
Who we are looking for…
We are looking for a flexible, driven and compassionate person, who has the ability to adapt to both the individual needs of the children, young people and families, but who can also provide solutions and outcomes to any unexpected issues that may arise.
NNEB, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Childcare and Children and Families work and one year’s experience of working with children and families are essential, as are well developed communication skills and the ability to undertake written reports.
