Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pallet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication and assembly, with experience using hand and power tools. This role involves working in a warehouse environment, where you will be responsible for constructing pallets to meet specific customer requirements. The ability to perform heavy lifting and demonstrate mechanical knowledge is essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities
Fabricate pallets according to specifications and customer orders
Assemble pallet components using hand tools and power tools
Ensure all pallets meet quality standards before dispatch
Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance
Maintain a clean and organised work area in compliance with safety regulations
Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency and quality
Assist in inventory management of materials required for pallet production
Qualifications
Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
Capability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 kg) as required
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
