About you:

We are proud to work for Exeter City Council and are looking for self motivated, organised yet creative person to help support the Council's Strategic Management Team and Executive Office to deliver the Council's priorities. You will be the first port of call for the organisation and so exceptional communication skills are needed along with the ability to interact professionally at all levels. Strong organisational skills are needed as well as the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively. A positive, friendly attitude is a must together with a willingness to learn and grow in the role.


About the role:

We need you to provide a comprehensive, efficient and confidential Personal Assistance/Administrative support service to the Strategic Management Board and Executive Office . We need a you to work part-time hours (three days per week) to provide maternity cover until the end of December 2025. You will need to be proficient in using MS Office Suite/Teams and other relevant software applications. You will need to work both collaboratively as part of a team, whilst also demonstrating individual initiative. You will need excellent communication skills and diary management.

About the team:

You will be a member of the Executive Office Team providing excellent support to the Leader, the Chief Executive and Strategic Management Board.
