Veterinary Surgeon – Suffolk

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established, RCVS-accredited practice set in the picturesque Essex/Suffolk border region. Surrounded by the stunning Suffolk countryside and with excellent transport links to both London and Cambridge, this is an ideal location for work-life balance.

You'll become a valued member of a warm, supportive team, working full-time in a role that offers a rewarding mix of surgical and medical cases. With a well-balanced rota of consultations and procedures, you’ll enjoy a varied caseload that keeps each day engaging. While you’ll mostly collaborate with the experienced team, the role does include some sole-charge responsibility on Saturdays—perfect for a confident vet who enjoys a degree of independence.

You’ll be joining a committed team of professionals, including 2 Vets, 6 RVNs, 1 SVN, and 3 VCAs, all of whom share a genuine passion for delivering exceptional patient and client care. The practice is also actively involved in the local community, sponsoring school events and fetes to promote animal welfare and team engagement.

The clinic is equipped with excellent modern facilities, including an in-house laboratory, ultrasound, radiography, endoscopy, and orthopaedic surgical capabilities, ensuring you have the tools you need to deliver top-tier care.

The Rota:

• Full time role – Part time applications and flexible rotas considered
• 40 hour week over 4 or 5 days between 9am and 7pm
• 1:3 Saturday mornings
• No OOH
