A leading main dealer in Exeter is seeking a qualified and experienced Van Mechanic / LCV Technician to join their growing service team. If you’ve got a Level 3 qualification and a background in light commercial vehicles, this is a brilliant opportunity to work in a professional, well-equipped workshop with full manufacturer support.
Key Responsibilities of a Van Mechanic / LCV Technician
Service, repair and maintain light commercial vehicles (LCVs) to manufacturer standards
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs using modern diagnostic tools
Accurately complete job cards and service reports
Follow company and manufacturer procedures, including warranty processes
Work closely with the parts team to ensure timely supply of components
What We’re Looking For
Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
Previous experience as a Van Mechanic, LCV Technician or Vehicle Technician
Confident with diagnostics, fault finding and electrical work
MOT licence is desirable but not essential
Strong team player with good communication skills and a proactive attitude
