Location: Newcastle upon Tyne

Hours of work: 36 hours per week. 9pm -9am on a rolling rota

Rate of pay: Waking Nights £14.00 per hour




We are seeking reliable, enthusiastic, and proactive Support Workers to assist an independent young lady with Cerebral Palsy to live her best life both at home and in the community. We are offering the right person a long term and permanent position subject to satisfactorily completing a probationary period. You will be working in an established team of 8 support workers and will always be working with another member of the team on a 2:1 basis.

You will provide support to maximise independence both at home and in the community.

Knowledge or experience of working with someone with Cerebral Palsy or PEG experience, is an advantage but is not essential as full training will be given.

Duties primarily are to provide care throughout the night and attend to their client as required during the night. Also to get her up on a morning, administer medication, assist with breakfast.
