We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Housekeeper to join our team. As the Head Housekeeper, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of our home. Your attention to detail and leadership skills will ensure that our residents have a comfortable and clean home.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train housekeeping staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards
- Coordinate daily cleaning schedules and assign tasks to housekeeping team members
- Inspect resident rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and health and safety
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and submit orders as needed
- Address resident complaints or concerns regarding housekeeping services promptly and effectively
- Collaborate with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to ensure smooth operations
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for housekeeping staff and provide feedback for improvement
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a housekeeping is required
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within housekeeping department
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and chemicals
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff members, guests, and other departments
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed
