Carers Trust Tyne and Wear is a local charity providing Home and Community based support for unpaid Carers within the Gateshead Area.
We work with clients' with a variety of illnesses. (i.e. Autism, Dementia, Parkinson's, MS)
We are looking for support staff who have experience and are confident working with Adults and Children who have Physical Disabilities', Learning Disabilities, and Mental Health Issues.
Your Role would be to provide practical and personal support to Adults and Children with care needs, in their own homes and in the local community.
Main Duties include, but are not limited to;
Supporting the clients' health and wellbeing
Assisting with personal hygiene.
Mobility assistance.
To support the person with individual care needs, stated on their care plan.
Full mandatory training provided.
Must adhere to confidentiality, data protection and all Carers Trust Tyne and Wear policy and procedures.
Applicants must be willing to undergo medical screening, checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service.

Free Initial DBS
NVQ Level 2 preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
