Crynodeb
Are you determined to have a career in nature conservation but lack the necessary
experience and certified training?
We are providing one full time, paid, trainee role starting in September 2025 for one
year.
The traineeship will enable you to gain invaluable experience working with our Nature
Recovery Team supporting our work on our Nature Reserves and weekly volunteer
groups, as well as wildlife monitoring and species identification work. There will also
be a training budget to support individual interests. All applicants must be able to
demonstrate the ability to work hard outdoors in all weathers with the desire to learn
new skills and show initiative in supporting the work of GWT.
Our Nature Reserves include nationally important habitats from the highest Beech
woods in Wales to beautiful wildflower meadows in the Wye Valley.
This is an amazing opportunity and we welcome applicants from all backgrounds
including recent school leavers or graduates. We are looking for someone who has a
real passion for wildlife and for this to be their future career.
