Your new company
Hays Education are currently recruiting for reliable and adaptable primary teachers to work at Primary Schools in Bristol. This role is to work a Wednesday and Thursday each week covering the teacher's planned PPA time and the placement is lasting until the end of the Academic Year. The school takes a caring, creative, and holistic approach to nurturing and educating children - many of the teachers placed in this school previously have gone on to build long-lasting relationships with the school and on some occasions, have continued as a classroom teacher beyond the initial placement.
Your new role
This role is on a part-time basis and the school will be looking for someone with strong and adaptable classroom skills as you will be sharing the class on a regular basis; the role is open to strong ECT's. Whilst the role is part-time, the school will be expecting you to take the class on as if it were a full-time role for the day you are working. There are no additional classroom responsibilities required in the role however the school would love for you to become a part of their inclusive and supportive team. If you like the idea of working one day a week in a Key Stage 1 class, then this is the role for you.
What you'll need to succeed
- You should have experience within a classroom setting in the last 5 years.
- Experience teaching in a Primary School.
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Hold a UK Qualified Teacher Status.
- Good knowledge of the English National Curriculum
