Summary
Millfield School is seeking two Day House Managers to work on a job share basis in a Year 9 mixed day house, providing high-quality pastoral support during term time. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team that ensures pupils feel safe, secure, and at home, while also ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the house.
Key duties will include supervising pupils in the house, general tidying and managing the upkeep of the house, ordering food and distributing snacks, and assisting pupils with day-to-day tasks such as mending uniforms, basic first aid and sorting lost property.
Working Pattern:
1-year fixed term contract (September 2025-June 2026)
Term time only (Monday to Saturday)
25 hours per day
Job share shifts:
Morning shift: 7:45 AM – 1:00 PM
Afternoon shift: 12:45 PM – 6:00 PM
Each Day House Manager will be responsible for one of the daily shifts and will work six days per week during term time.
The salary is £14,370.24 per annum per Day House Manager (inclusive of statutory holiday pay).
