You will be based in the North West of England, Greater ManchesterPurpose of RoleThe 3PL Contract Manager is pivotal in optimising logistics for both our high street retail stores and e-commerce operations, ensuring seamless stock flow, cost efficiency, and scalability. This role manages 3PL partnerships for warehousing and transport, with a dual focus on in-store replenishment and direct-to-consumer (DTC) fulfilment, while driving strategies to support e-commerce growth. ResponsibilitiesPrioritize high street store replenishment to minimize stock outs, especially during promotions. Coordinate with 3PLs on consolidated store-friendly deliveries.Be the conduit between retail teams and 3pl teams to maintain great relationshipsResolve store-level issues (late deliveries, incorrect allocations) with 3PLs. Negotiate 3PL contracts with dual retail/e-commerce cost structures to derive the best cost and service performance for the business. Monitors 3PL costs both at budget setting and periodically to ensure fairness of charging Audit 3PL performance against omnichannel cost and service SLAs Develop both the Store and E-Commerce service proposition whilst maintainingEnsure seamless integration between store stock and e-commerce inventory poolsPartner with the E-Commerce Team to forecast sales, promotions, seasonal peaksWork with 3PLs to scale e-commerce fulfilment capacity as the participation grows. Improve customer experience and reduce costs. Collaborate with IT for real-time inventory visibility across channels. Explore sustainable logistics solutions Requirements:Experience: 5+ years in retail/e-commerce logistics, 3PL management, or omnichannel supply chain. Retail & E-Commerce Knowledge: Understanding of store operations and DTC fulfilment challenges. Familiarity with e-commerce KPIs (order-to-dispatch time, returns rate, NPS)Proficiency in WMS, OMS, TMS (e.g., Manhattan, Shopify Fulfilment Network). Data analysis (Excel, Power BI) to model logistics costs and service levels.
