Are you an experienced LGV / HGV driver eager to elevate your skills? We have an exciting opportunity waiting for you! Join our clients team as a Temporary Refuse Driver/Loader at our well-established waste and recycling depot in Willand.
Our client's package is designed with your needs in mind, offering:
-Competitive hourly pay rate
-Provided PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
-Monday to Friday work schedule (excluding 8 bank holidays and Christmas)
-Complimentary on-site parking
As a Refuse Driver/Loader, you'll take on a diverse range of responsibilities, including:
-Operating LGV Category C and non-LGV vehicles as required
-Conducting daily vehicle inspections
-Leading the crew in efficient collection of recycling and refuse across Mid Devon, ensuring no collection is overlooked
-Upholding a commitment to safe work practices
About You:
-Possession of an LGV Licence (Category C)
-Holding a Driver CPC card
-Demonstrated LGV driving experience; however, we also welcome newly qualified drivers
-While not mandatory, prior experience in the waste industry is advantageous
