Job Description
We are currently seeking a reliable and professional part-time minibus driver to join our team. This role involves transporting children to and from school during term time. As the face of Logic, we are looking for someone who is punctual, friendly, and safety-conscious.
Key Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- A sufficient command of the English language for communication and record-keeping.
- A valid UK driving licence with Category D1 or D entitlement.
- Aged 25 or over (for insurance purposes).
- No more than 3 penalty points on your driving licence.
- A valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
We will consider applicants with expired CPCs on the condition that 35 hours of periodic training is completed before employment begins.
- A current Group 2 Medical Certificate.
- A minimum of 1 year of PSV (Public Service Vehicle) driving experience.
- No criminal record – this role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
- A professional, positive and courteous attitude.
Experience working with children is desirable but not essential.
What We Offer
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am–10:00am and 2:00pm–5:00pm (school term-time only).
- Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour.
- Contract: 1-year fixed-term contract, with potential for extension.
