We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed teacher to work as part of a friendly, collegiate, successful and hardworking Technology department.

In addition, colleagues will benefit from being part of the Pathfinder Multi Academy Trust Career Pathway Programme, and through working with colleagues across other Trust schools, develop skills and share innovative teaching and learning practices.

This is an exciting opportunity for a well-qualified, energetic and versatile teacher to join a well established and highly successful Technology department. Engineering, Food, Textiles and Art sit within the department and candidates who specialise in one or more of these curriculum areas would be ideally suited to the post.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed teacher and would welcome applications from both experienced and newly qualified colleagues.

The successful candidate will be:

• expected to teach across KS3 as well astheGCSE Qualification . This is dependent on specialism. Currently , Technology qualifications offered at KS4 are:

- GCSE Art & Design (AQA)

- Hospitality & Catering (Level 1/2 WJEC)

- Engineering & Graphic Products (OCR)

- GCSE Textiles, Art & Design (Educas)

• expected to play a full part in the updating and implementation of Schemes of Work, across all Key Stages.
• a strong classroom practitioner, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and confident with classroom management.
• contribute to the planning and delivery of a strong extra-curricular offer.
• aware of current affairs in education, and will come with fresh ideas founded in academic research and the Ofsted framework.
• expected to be a Form Tutor.
