JOB TITLE - Higher level teaching assistant (HLTA)

ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Prospero Teaching is looking for a HLTA for an Ofsted "Good" Sixth form college in Haringey, North London.

The school is a medium size mainstream Sixth form college with a supportive SEN department. You will be working closely with the SENCO to ensure all students are receiving the support they require to succeed.

This position is open to candidates with previous HLTA experience or candidates who are extremely experienced SEN LSA's. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

- Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £120 per day
- Hours - 8:30 am - 4pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have experience as a HLTA. If not, then a minimum 3 years' experience as a SEN LSA is required
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child and adult barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover the last 2 years
