A&E:
As a Clinical Support Worker in A&E, you will work in a fast-paced environment, assisting medical and nursing staff in delivering prompt, high-quality care. Duties include performing cardiovascular observations, ECGs, urinalysis, meeting basic patient care needs, and carrying out venepuncture and cannulation (if trained).
Acute Care Unit (ACU):
ACU is a busy admissions unit where patients stay for 24–48 hours. You will assist with initial assessments for new admissions from A&E, including vital signs, height, weight, and skin integrity checks. You will also support basic patient care and help transfer patients to other wards to maintain patient flow. Skills in phlebotomy and cannulation are highly beneficial.
