Torus Group are seeking a Stock Condition Surveyor to support our investment and asset management strategies through accurate
surveying and data capture. As part of the Strategy and Planning team, you’ll deliver a professional service focused on data
capture, including stock condition, forward planning, energy performance, asbestos re-inspection, HHSRS, and quality assurance
surveys.
You’ll bring strong knowledge of construction legislation, health and safety standards, and experience across a range of building
surveys. Collaborative working with colleagues and stakeholders will be key to delivering a seamless, value-for-money service.
The role is based in Warrington, with travel to other locations as required.
What you’ll be doing:
* You’ll be responsible for conducting a range of technical property surveys to inform our strategic asset decisions. You will:
* Carry out stock condition, energy performance, asbestos re-inspection, and HHSRS surveys
* Analyse data to support investment planning and compliance
* Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth service delivery
* Validate survey data to maintain high standards of accuracy and quality assurance
* Provide technical advice to stakeholders and support continuous improvement in our surveying processes
What we’re looking for:
* A relevant construction qualification (Level 4 or equivalent)
* Experience in asset-related surveys including energy and stock condition surveys
* Strong knowledge of health & safety and housing standards, including Decent Homes and HHSRS
* Excellent communication, IT, and stakeholder management skills
* A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the North West
* Experience with electronic data capture and an understanding of value for money in service delivery will be advantageous.
Interview Process:
* Candidates will undergo in-person interviews, consisting of a competency-based interview.
