Equans is recruiting for a Housekeeper to be based in Noel Baker Academy DE24 0BR, this is a permanent role working 30 hours per week. On offer is salary of £12.21 per hour and benefits package.
Shift Pattern:
52 week contract - 47 weeks = 30 hours a week Monday - Friday 09:00 - 15:00
Annual Leave is set to accommodate the school which are the following:
1 week during February half term
1 week during easter half term (2nd Week)
2 weeks during 6weeks holidays (last 2 weeks)
1 week over Christmas break.
No holiday are taken during term time or when deep cleans are taken place - deep cleans are completed during the half terms.
What you will deliver
* Adhere to company Health & Safety requirements.
* Keep clients environments clean and tidy to the highest standards
* Ensure the effective use of equipment and materials.
* To use PDA to complete and close jobs accordingly
* Reporting all faults to the Site Manager/Cleaning Supervisor.
* Ensure Health & Safety and COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) regulations are complied with at all times.
* Undertake any other duties and responsibilities that may reasonably be expected by the site manager or cleaning supervisor.
* Checking cleaning cupboards and replenishing stock daily.
* Making sure all cloths are washed and replenished daily.
* Checking and cleaning toilets daily.
* Answering to school for spillages and any other problems that occur during school hours.
* Carry out cleaning section to specified areas including toilets, floors and office areas ensuring that internal facilities are maintained in a clean and hygienic condition and that the general standard of cleaning is maintained to a very high standard.
* General Maintenance Duties
For this role you must undergo an Enhanced DBS clearance therefore ability to pass is essential.
