About the Role:
Are you an experienced childcare professional looking for the next step in your career? We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Deputy Manager to support the leadership of our clients residential children's home near Swindon. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people, providing them with a safe, stable, and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring high-quality care is provided.
• Lead and support a team of Residential Children's Workers, offering guidance and supervision.
• Help to create and maintain a warm, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for children and young people.
• Support the development and implementation of individual care plans.
• Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding policies.
• Contribute to staff training, development, and performance management.
• Assist with administrative duties, rota planning, and ensuring smooth operations.

What We’re Looking For:
• Experience working in a residential children's home setting.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
• A passion for supporting young people and promoting positive outcomes.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) is essential.
• A willingness to work towards the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management
• A full UK driving licence.
