Join one of the area's best logistics and distribution companies! Connect Appointments are looking for reliable individuals to become Logistic Assistant for one of our client.
Working within their Bathgate facility, this is an ongoing temporary role, leading to full-time permanent contract for the right candidate.
Shifts based on a rota, working 5 days out of 7:
- 06.00 till finish circa 14.00
- 08.00 till finish circa 16.00
Pay rate: £12.38 per hour - paid weekly
Working as a Logistics Assistant, you will be operating within the transport department, with your duties including: moving stock around the department and loading areas, loading & unloading trucks, operating different machinery
To be successful in this Logistics Assistant role you will have:
- confident driving large MHE
- Great attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills
- Able to work under pressure
- Experience with proof of deliveries and working with external suppliers is preferred but not essential
