Home: 70 beds – Nursing Care
Role: Full-time, Permanent

This is your opportunity to step into a beautiful, purpose-built 70-bed nursing care home and lead a passionate team in delivering outstanding care. Due to internal progression, Buckingham Lodge in Watton is on the lookout for an exceptional individual to take the helm and make a real impact.

About The Home
Located in the heart of a vibrant market town with great transport links to Norwich, the home is a modern, well-equipped home offering all single, en-suite rooms across three floors. The home is tastefully decorated, buzzing with life, and ready for a leader who can take it to the next level.

As the Registered Care Home Manager, you will:
Lead with vision and compassion, promoting a culture built on kindness, empathy and dignity.

Drive operational excellence, ensuring full regulatory compliance and top-tier standards across care delivery.

Inspire and develop your team, building a skilled, motivated workforce with a shared commitment to person-centred care.

Deliver commercial success, managing budgets, achieving full occupancy, and raising the home’s profile through strategic marketing.

Build strong relationships with residents, families, staff and the wider community.

Ensure safety and compliance by overseeing risk management, governance and CQC standards.

✅ What You’ll Need:
Minimum 3 years' experience managing a large residential or nursing care setting

Sound knowledge of CQC regulations and legislation

A track record of staff leadership, retention, and development

Strong commercial acumen and confidence with budgeting, occupancy, and marketing

Ability to communicate, inspire, and lead by example

NMC Registration preferred but not essential
