Position Overview:
Job Title: Kitchen Porter
Location: Wembley area
Type: Ongoing, Full-Time
Shifts: 7am–3pm, 3pm–11pm, 11pm–7am (Monday to Sunday, rota provided weekly)
Pay: From £12.21 per hour + holiday accrual
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain the cleanliness of all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils
• Operate and maintain dishwashing machines to ensure all kitchenware is properly sanitised and stored
• Handle waste disposal in line with food safety regulations
• Assist with basic food prep tasks when needed
• Monitor cleaning supply levels and report stock shortages
• Follow all health and safety guidelines, including safe handling of cleaning chemicals
Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter is essential
• Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Physically fit with the ability to lift and stand for long periods
