Job Description:
As a Paralegal in our Firm, you will manage a diverse caseload of Landlord and Tenant Disputes and Personal Injury Claims. You will also be given the opportunity to work and develop yourself with the Conveyancing Department and Immigration Department, giving you a broad exposure to various areas of law. You will be responsible for ensuring that all claims are handled efficiently and effectively, providing high-quality legal support to clients throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:
● Manage a varied caseload consisting of various areas of law.
● Draft and prepare documents, including statements of case, witness statements, and legal letters.
● Ensuring compliance with Pre-Action Protocols and other Legislative provisions that are applicable, such as the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985.
● Strong understanding of the litigation process, Pre-Action, CPR, MIB Agreements etc.
● Navigate and manage claims through the Official Injury Claims Portal, MOJ Claims Portal, and MIB Portal.
● Knowledge and understanding of Landlord and Tenant Disputes.
● Work effectively to achieve successful outcomes for clients while managing the legal process.
● Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.
● Communicate regularly with clients, third parties, and insurers to provide updates and progress reports.
● Ensure the timely resolution of cases by managing workload and deadlines efficiently.
● Experience dealing with Housing Disrepair cases.

Requirements:
● Technically proficient with strong attention to detail.
● Excellent time management and organisational skills.
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
● Experience in providing advice, drafting documents, and statements of case (preferred).
● Familiar and accustomed to the relevant Pre-Action Protocols (essential).
● Familiar and accustomed to the MIB Untraced Drivers Agreement and Uninsured Drivers Agreement (essential).
● Proficient understanding of the Official Injury Claims Portal, MOJ Claims Portal, and MIB Portal (essential).
● Proficient understanding of Civil Procedure Rules and the Litigation Procedure (essential).
● Completion of the Legal Practice Course (LPC) or Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) (essential).

The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be a motivated, proactive individual with a solid understanding of the issues surrounding Personal Injury cases and Landlord and Tenant Disputes. You will possess strong organisational skills, the ability to manage a demanding caseload, and a commitment to delivering excellent client service. Candidates with strong academic backgrounds will be preferred.
You will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring that claims are managed effectively and within the relevant deadlines.
