You would be joining a highly successful family owned and operated UK manufacturer of processed snacks. They provide a wide range of flavourful products using traditional recipes and new innovative methods, bringing high end, quality bite-sized goods to the market.
About the Factory Manager job
The purpose of your role will be to provide a hands-on, dedicated, and experienced approach to all of the sites operations. This position plays a pivotal role in overseeing production planning, quality control, and the daily management of manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will provide strong leadership to ensure that production processes operate efficiently and effectively, while upholding high standards of quality.
Key tasks
Manage daily production operations, ensuring schedules are met and processes run smoothly.
Implement and uphold quality control systems in line with SALSA standards.
Lead and motivate the production team, promoting efficiency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and safety regulations while addressing operational issues effectively.
About You
The successful candidate shall have proven experience in production planning, operations, and quality control within a food manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of HACCP standards and food manufacturing processes.
Demonstrated leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on operational efficiency and compliance.

The Factory Manager job (ref:8892) is paying £45,000 to £65,000 per annum, depending on experience according to your experience.
The site is in East London and is commutable from Dagenham, Barking, Ilford, Chadwell Heath, Stratford, Romford, Plaistow, Woolwich along with other areas of London, Essex and North Kent.
The package includes a Company Car (Tesla), annual performance-based bonus, pension and 28 days annual leave.
The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.
