Summary
Role: HGV Class 2 Driver
Location: Northfleet, Gravesend
Hours: 8am start – Tuesday to Friday
Pay: £16 per hour
Extrastaff are currently recruiting an HGV Class 2 Driver to work for our wholesaler client based in Northfleet, Gravesend.
Benefits for HGV Class 2 Driver:
• Weekly pay
• No weekend work
• Paid PAYE - no umbrella companies
• Use of company temp APP
• Minimum 8 hours pay per shift
• Ongoing work
HGV Class 2 Driver Duties:
• Multi-drop deliveries – beers, ales, ciders, wines, champagnes, spirits, soft drinks, snacks, bar & cleaning products.
• Deliveries in Southeast England
• Completion of paperwork
• Cash handling
• Assisted by drivers’ mate
• Use of sack barrow
Requirements for HGV Class 2 Driver:
• HGV Class 2 licence (C category) - max 6 points on licence (cannot accept any CU, MS, MW, PC, TS, DD, DR, or DG offences)
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
• Good customer service & communication skills
• Reliability
• Minimum 6 months experience
