Shift EIC Technician
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to join the Operations and Maintenance team at Lancashire Renewables
Ltd working on a 5-shift system at our Thornton facility.
What you’ll be doing
The Shift EIC Technician will be responsible for the maintenance of the waste treatment facility assets and associated
infrastructure, including operational monitoring of functional odour abatement systems and the SCADA system.
What you will bring
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
* ONC/HNC Electrical qualification or the equivalent experience with supporting qualifications.
While we offer and encourage training and development opportunities, the following would be highly beneficial:
* Knowledge of preventative, predictive & lifecycle maintenance activities.
* Experience of utilising a centralised maintenance management system.
* Able to effectively manage work schedules in a timely manner and work under pressure to deadlines.
* Proficiency in using various computer-based systems including Microsoft Office applications.
* Knowledge of waste processing plant, FMCG, chemical or industrial machinery.

Lancashire Renewables Ltd was established for the operation and management of the two waste treatment facilities built for the
Lancashire Waste Contract.
Our two facilities in Thornton and Leyland are manned 365 days a year. Both sites can process over 5,000 tonnes of residual
(black bin bag) waste per week and divert 95% of this material away from landfill.
Our aim is to achieve a sustainable future for Lancashire by providing services to process biodegradable and non-biodegradable
community waste and our people are vital in helping us achieve this.
Our employees work in a variety of operations, maintenance, logistics and support roles across our two sites in Leyland and
Thornton, actively encouraging internal growth through development and training programmes.
