Are you a caring and dedicated Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting KS1 learners?
One of our supportive schools in Weoley Castle is seeking a committed Year 1 Teaching Assistant to join their team in September. This full-time role offers a rewarding opportunity to work as whole class support, playing a key part in lesson delivery and supporting pupils' learning and engagement.

About the Role:

You will work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons, providing support to all pupils across the class. While your main focus will be whole-class assistance, you may also support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or those who require additional help to access the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the teaching and delivery of engaging Year 1 lessons.
- Assist with classroom preparation, activities, and behaviour management.
- Work collaboratively with the teacher to meet pupils' individual learning needs.
- Provide targeted support for SEN or lower-attaining pupils where required.
- Encourage a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Candidate Requirements:
- Relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications (e.g. , CACHE Level 2 or 3, or equivalent).
- Experience working with children in a KS1 school setting.
- A caring, proactive, and patient approach to supporting young learners.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow instruction and take initiative when needed.
