Rikama Education are working with a SEN school based in Broadstairs, who are looking to recruit Learning Support Assistants to start immediately.
The school caters for children and young people, aged 5-19 who have severe intellectual disabilities who are on the Autistic Spectrum.
Many have associated communication difficulties and emotional/behaviour difficulties associated with their complex disabilities and medical needs.
The school have excellent facilities to support their children and young people.
The hours will be:
Monday - Thursday - 8:30 - 4:30
Friday - 8:30 - 4:00
Option for 12 hour shifts also if desired
It is essential that you have previous experience supporting young people with additional needs, have excellent behaviour management skills and have a DBS registered to the update system or willing to have a new one run.
This is a long-term position and for the right candidates a temp to perm contract maybe offered.
