Brake Press Setter/Operator – Dayshift
Location: Livingston
Hours: 39.5 hrs/week | Mon–Thu: 7am–4pm | Fri: 7am–12:30pm
Salary: £12.71 – £14.50 per hour (DOE)
Are you an experienced Brake Press Setter/Operator looking to join a dynamic production team in a thriving manufacturing environment?
We’re seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to operate and maintain our brake press machinery, ensuring precision and quality in every metalwork project.
What You’ll Do:
- Set up and operate brake press machines per engineering specs
- Select and install appropriate tooling and dies
- Inspect parts to meet high quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks
- Troubleshoot issues and optimize machine settings
What You Bring:
- Proven brake press experience in a metal fabrication setting
- Strong understanding of tooling and metalwork techniques
- Ability to read technical drawings and precise measurements
- A problem-solving mindset and team-oriented attitude
