We are looking for a compassionate and dedicatedAssistant Support Worker to join our friendly team at Candlemas Mead, a warm and welcoming supported living home for six adults aged 48-65.Each resident enjoys the privacy of their own en-suite room, and we work together to create a supportive, respectful, and empowering environment. Hoist training is required, and full support will be provided if you need to refresh or gain this skill. What You will Do:As an Assistant Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping individuals live as independently as possible. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:Supporting with personal care in a dignified and respectful wayEncouraging life skills such as cooking, cleaning, shopping, and budgetingPromoting independence and helping residents achieve their personal goalsFollowing tailored support plans and risk assessments to ensure safety and wellbeingAs an Assistant Support Worker you will;Provide appropriate support to service users who are living in their own homes or in a supported housing setting to enable them to support their aspirations and maximise their independence.You will not be providing personal care but your role will involve promoting life skills such as shopping, managing budgets and supporting with domestic tasks such as cooking and cleaning.Build long lasting support relationships with people who will benefit from you "being the difference".Follow agreed support plans and risk assessments to ensure that we are providing a service that meets each individual’s needs.No Experience?
