We recruit on values and transferrable skills and we’ll give you all the training you need to be an amazing Bank Support Practitioner and pay you for time.The RoleAs a Bank Support Practitioner you will play a vital role within our team. You will cover shifts to ensure continued high-quality, person-centred care and support during times of annual leave, training or sickness. The people we support have a range of different needs including mental health, learning disabilities, acquired brain injuries, addictions and past trauma. As a Bank Support Practitioner you will assist with a range of diverse support such as homecare, medication management, meal preparation and supporting people in the community to access health services, educational opportunities, leisure and social activities within their own homes. From arts and crafts to watching the football and going out for a tasty bite to eat, the people we support enjoy being active in their communities. You will support the individuals on an outcome-based programme which will see them grow in confidence and learn life skills to increase their independence. With your help, you’ll enable the individuals to explore new opportunities and reduce social isolation.To be part of our team, we’ll need you to:Have an empathetic and caring nature.Good observation skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Confidence in using computers.Be able to work well in a team environment and on your own.Good organisational skills.Shift PatternsOur dedicated friendly team provide 24/7 support which is tailored to the needs of each individual.
