Residential Support Worker
Location: Near Newbury
£14.50 - £16.50
Completely Care are recruiting Residential Support Worker's for our clients in the Berkshire area to help provide a safe, loving, and supportive home for children and young people.
Duties:
• Be part of a dedicated team, led and supported by a Registered Manager, to create a nurturing home environment.
• Act as a positive role model, offering encouragement and praise to build confidence and self-esteem of the young people and children.
• Enjoy fun and engaging activities such as swimming, go-karting, skating, and helping children experience missed milestones.
• Provide emotional and physical support, empowering children to reach their full potential, even in challenging situations.
• Build trusting relationships and friendships, offering stability and consistency in their lives.
• Help children find joy in everyday tasks, fostering independence and life skills.
• Encourage and empower them to make decisions about their own lives, promoting self-worth and autonomy.
What our client is looking for:
• A compassionate and patient individual who is passionate about supporting children and young people.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships.
• Resilience and adaptability in challenging situations.
• A willingness to participate in activities and create memorable experiences.
• Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential – full training will be provided.
