Are you a compassionate, patient, and experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for making a real difference in the lives of young people? We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our inclusive and nurturing educational community, supporting students with learning differences and autism.
About the Role:
As a key member of our support staff, you will work closely with teachers and the SEN team to provide tailored support that helps our students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. You will bring creativity, empathy, and a strong understanding of neurodiversity to help each young person reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with a range of learning differences, including autism
• Help implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies
• Foster a safe, respectful, and positive learning environment
• Support students in developing life skills and independence
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure holistic support
What We’re Looking For:
• Proven experience working with children or young people with SEN, particularly autism
• A nurturing, adaptable, and proactive approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant certificate, or equivalent experience)
• A genuine passion for inclusive education and child development
