Carry out various machinery operations (prep plant, extrusion, setting, dehacker and kiln)
Ensure optimum production targets, minimum waste and the highest levels of consistent quality are achieved
Ensure safe working at all times with a right first time every time by everyone attitude to produce a cost effective, quality product
Actively take part in any training to enhance your role
Operating Forklift Truck
Hours of Work: 7.00am to 6.00pm on a 4 on 4 off shift system
About You
You’ll enjoy working in a busy environment where you can roll your sleeves up and get hands-on
Flexible and able to adapt to the different daily priorities in the factory which help us run efficiently
Safety is our biggest priority, so you’ll be committed to safe working and have good general safety awareness.
You’ll be fit enough to perform your duties, which are varied, and sometimes physically demanding
Good literacy - as there is some paperwork involved
Excellent time keeping
A can-do attitude
Good team working skills
Ability to work unsupervised
Experience in a factory/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential, as full training is provided.
A valid current RTITB, ITSSAR NPORS or CPCS forklift truck license with recent driving experience or previous experience operating mobile plant equipment would be advantageous but is not required to be considered for this role.
