Crynodeb
The Football Recruiting Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the club’s scouting and recruitment efforts by managing key logistics, presentation design and delivery, and coordinating internal operations of the recruitment process. This position acts as a central hub between groups such as scouts, analysts, back office staff, and agents in ensuring a seamless and professional recruitment experience.
ROLE RESPONSIBLITIES
Scouting & Recruitment Support
• Organise and track scouting assignments across domestic and international regions.
• Maintain and update databases of targets, including reports, video links, and statistical profiles.
• Assist in the preparation of dossiers and player profiles for internal presentations and executive reviews.
Presentation & Communication Management
• Build, design, and manage internal presentations using tools like PowerPoint, Keynote, etc. This could include recruiting meeting agendas, internal documentations on targets or signed players, etc.
• Manage various streams of documentation and ensure they are, databased, permissioned, well organized, and accessible when appropriate.
• Create polished visual materials for pitch decks used in negotiations or player engagement.
• Collaborate with the club’s media/creative team to ensure visual materials align with our standards.
Logistical Coordination
• Manage the assignment of scouting live game assignments and ticket management.
• Organise logistics for team, player, or agent meetings both in the UK and abroad.
• Work with club logistics staff to coordinate travel + accommodation for scouts as needed (this will mainly live with another department)
Required Relevant Experience
• Experience in a professional sports environment (football preferred) including the demands of the sporting schedule, how to work in a sporting environment, managing travel logistics and game access, etc.
• Experience in utilizing and organizing football platforms such as Hudl, Wyscout, Scoutastic / Scout7, etc.
• Experience with project management tools such as Monday.com, Asana, etc. is preferred.
Required Technical Skills
• Excellent communicator with demonstrated strong written skills and presentation development capability.
• Attention to detail and eye for graphic design merging simplicity with quality. Some level of graphic design capability (e.g. Adobe creative suite) is preferred.
• Working knowledge in football tactics, profiles, styles of play etc such that they can communicate effectively with different audiences within the organization. Will not necessarily be expected to directly supply specific technical views on players or engage in player scouting.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work with total discretion.
